Experience a different kind of "rush hour" as you paddle your kayak in a glacier carved lake and enjoy hiking in a pristine, glacier-carved valley.
Historic Halibut Cove, by sea kayak!: 3-4 hours,

The quaint community of Halibut Cove awaits you.... You will see the finest scenery and also hear interesting stories of this historic place. If time and tides permit, visit Alaska's only floating coffee shop. In addition to the sea kayaking, you also go beach combing on a remote pebble beach.
Brown Bear Viewing: 7 to 8 hours, From $600/person
Spend a day in the company of trained guides, observing and learning about the Alaskan brown bear(at a safe distance of course!!).
Coastal Tour By Boat: 2 hours $75/person
This is a great opportunity to view and photograph our favorite wild neighbors – endearing sea otters and nesting bald eagles. You may also see porpoise, whales, sea lions, seals and sea birds including Puffins, Harlequins and Oystercatchers.
Birding tour by boat: 2 hours $75/person
Join an local naturalist for a birding tour on Kachemak Bay. Trips include a stop at Gull Island, the largest rookery in the area. You may see Kittlitz's Murrelets, Aleutian Terns, Red-faced Cormorants, horned and tufted Puffins, Harlequins Oystercatchers and many others. Time observing these unique species is unhurried.
Glacier Hopping Flightseeing Adventure: 2 hours $300/person
An incredible experience! A floatplane pickup at the lodge followed by an amazing flight through the Kenai Mountains and over numerous glaciers. In addition to the breathtaking scenery, watch for mountain goats, moose, and black bear. Land on a remote glacier lake and explore, photograph, and learn about these "incredible rivers of ice".
Whale Watching $150/person
A full-day whale-watching tour, taking you to lower Cook inlet, the whales' rich feeding grounds. You may see Humpback, Minke and Orcas. In addition, you will see a variety of marine wildlife.
Halibut Fishing: Full-day $250/person, Half-day $150/person
Popular and predictable, Halibut fishing here is the best in the world. Trophies weigh 100 pounds or more with the average fish between 25 to 50 pounds. Very fine eating. All fishing gear, bait, and guide provided. We can also arrange processing, packaging, freezing, and shipping.
Homer is famous for its halibut fishing charters are available for fishing trips on and across the bay, and salmon runs are also accessible at the Fishin' Hole on the Homer Spit. Fishing licenses are required for any fishing, even clamming. If you've come to Homer to fish, contact the Homer Chamber of Commerce for some of the finest Halibut charter operators around. Coal Point Trading Company, on the Homer Spit, will process, freeze, and ship your catch.
